Associate trainer programme
The KSCMP associate trainer programme enables multi-agency professionals to undertake train-the-trainer sessions to deliver KSCMP developed courses. Associate trainers are required to commit to delivery of two courses on behalf of KSCMP to multi-agency audiences per year, as well as being able to deliver courses internally to their organisation.
Becoming an associate trainer
Anyone wishing to join the associate trainer programme must complete the online application form. Applications will be reviewed by the KSCMP Business Team for suitability and applicants advised whether they have been successful. If successful, the individual and their line manager will need to return the complete trainer agreement to the KSCMP Business Team and will be offered train-the-trainer dates to book onto. Course material will be provided following the full attendance and completion of the relevant train-the-trainer sessions, providing a completed trainer agreement has been received.
Intakes of new trainers will take place quarterly, and if successful the KSCMP Business Team will advise of the next available train-the-trainer dates.
Conditions of the programme
Associate trainers are required to confirm that they will deliver a minimum of two courses per year on behalf of KSCMP (this does not include courses delivered in-house in their own organisation), and to keep records of the number of training sessions delivered in respect of any single agency training to provide end-of-year data to KSCMP when requested.
Associate trainers are not permitted to charge for the delivery of any KSCMP courses, including to other organisations. Only associate trainers who are accepted and registered with KSCMP and have undertaken the requisite train-the-trainer courses are permitted to deliver KSCMP courses.
